Vacancy for Parish Councillor
Would you like to make a difference in your local community? Would you like to influence decisions that affect people living in Averham, Kelham and Staythorpe? Are you committed and enthusiastic about protecting the environment, the countryside and rural communities?
If you are interested in making a difference in the then please apply to become a Parish Councillor. Applications are particularly welcome from people living in Averham as the current vacancy is for a councillor to represent the Averham Ward however, expressions of interest are also welcome from residents of Kelham and Staythorpe Wards.
The Parish Council meets every month for approximately two hours. In addition to attending the meetings, some councillors also initiate and take part in village activities.
